Kate and Susan founded This Charming Candy in 2009. We're a Seattle-based handcrafted candy company that is known for its unique, delicious lollipops in brilliant colors, which we

We've been friends for over 10 years and have so much in common it's scary. We've both been mathematicians, librarians, and have escaped from corporate life in big high-technology companies before deciding to go into business together. We're also hockey fans (San Jose Sharks for Kate, Philadelphia Flyers for Susan) and avid tea drinkers.
We are licensed food handlers and processors in the state of Washington, and we make our candy in a licensed commercial catering kitchen. The caterer processes foods to which some customers may be allergic, including milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, wheat, peanuts and soybeans.
